Around the House 13.0 – Pins

One of the things I love to do if the creative juices aren’t flowing is to look through magazines and be inspired by someone else! Or more specifically, be inspired by a card that someone else made. This card is a great example of this. I was looking for a cute idea for a Mother’s Day card but nothing I seem to put together was working. I started flipping through a Paper Crafts Magazine (my favorite subscription) and this card just jumped out at me.

I love the idea of using the pins on this card, especially if the recipient is the sewing kind! All I did was cut out these hearts, from the George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge, at 1/2” and then hot glued them to the pins. I dulled the ends of the pin on a wood block to make sure they were somewhat blunt. Then I just push the pins into the ribbon to secure them. I am really happy with the end result and I can’t wait to see where else pins will show up on my cards! Thanks for reading.
