Around the House 8.0 – Rubberbands

When you go to the store, you can never buy a reasonable amount of rubber bands. Rubber bands come in excessive bags of 100 or in a giant rubber band ball! How many things around the house really need rubber bands? Not that many. Today I decided to use a rubber band for my Around the House project.

This card is extremely basic. The great part is, you barely notice the rubber band. In fact, if I hadn’t brought it up, would you have even realized it was a rubber band? Probably not. I chose a rubber band with a large diameter in order to avoid the paper curling. I mounted the blue checkered paper, purchased at Ellis Art & Engineering Supplies (of Chico), on white cardstock and put the rubber around the two papers. The stamp is from the “It’s a Girl” Inkadinkadoo clear stamp set.

This card is simple, but fantastic, and a great use for an extra rubber band. We love comments at BeaOriginal, so feel free to share your thoughts with us!
