Expanding our horizons!

If you have followed my blog, you know that I have a passion for learning new craft techniques! I have been crocheting for a few years now, but I pretty much stick with scarves. The next step I had in mind was making beanies. Now I have attempted beanies before using my limited crochet knowledge, however, only one really turned out the way I wanted, and of course, I didn’t write down what I did.

So this left me back at square one. I’ve heard good things about using looms, so I decided to invest in a Knifty Knitter. After following the simple enough instructions I had a baby beanie whipped out in no time. After playing with the knitter for a little while, I started adding my own flare to the hats.

This beanie is my latest and greatest creation to date. I added a brim to this beanie to give it a more up-to-date look. I love the purple yarn that I used, and I think it turned out pretty great. What do you think?
